About Us

Bluff Entertainment Lighting started out as a smaller lighting design company back in 1999.  Back then it was more focused on show and theatre lighting design and some commercial work.  Over the years our owners moved to LA and started to work in Film and Television.  At that time the company morphed into the grip and lighting house for TV and film it is today.  As we grow, our clients needs grow.  We have thrived on the ongoing relationships of our clients and the growth of new clients over the years.  We started as film students in LA and understand what it was like back at the beginning.  The struggle to get equipment and rental houses to work with us.  We still today have great relationships with those houses that went out of their way to help us out then and now we do business with them back and forth.

The importance of the Worker is at the forefront of our mission.  As Proud UNION members we work hard to make sure our crews are out there with the best gear and equipment to make their job safer and easier to get the job done.  When it comes to safety our rental department has the knowledge of locations and have solutions for safety concerns that may come up.  Wet environments or windy days can pose a lot of dangers. Our skilled employees have been out there and understand what to expect, and have answers to help keep you safe.
